Trip/Registration FAQs

Here are some common questions about Run the Sol’s Trip and Registration Process

How much is my trip deposit?

Your trip deposit will be $200 per person, and is non-refundable once paid.

When are monthly payments due?

All payments are due on the 30th of each month. If a month has 31 days, your payment is still due on the 30th of the month. Failure to complete the required minimum monthly payment on the 30th of the month by 11:59pm will result in a late fee added to your account.

When is my first monthly payment due?

Your first monthly trip payment is due on the 30th following the month that you submitted your non-refundable deposit.

i.e. You submitted your deposit on February 3rd, Your first monthly trip payment will be on March 30th

Do I have to make a payment each month?

Yes, a minimum monthly payment is required for all registrants who have an account balance.  If you pay for your balance in full at any time during the payment period, no further payments are required.

We also accepts checks and money orders which can be mailed directly to Run the Sol. If a check is returned to Run the Sol, you will incur a $50 returned check fee, and suspension of the ability to make payment by check.

How is my monthly payment calculated?

We typically have 8 trip payments, with the final payment being due on October 30th.  To calculate your minimum monthly payment simply divide your current balance by the number of payments remaining.

Will I receive a bill each month from Run the Sol?

Yes, we will email you a monthly payment reminder which includes an accounting of all payments made to date, and your current remaining balance each month.  Monthly payment reminders are emailed approximately 2 weeks before the 30th of each month.

What method of payments do you accept?

We accept the following digital forms of payment:

Capital One P2P Payments
FirstBank Person to Person Transfers
Frost Send Money
U.S. Bank Send Money
Wells Fargo SurePay℠
